In The Force Unleashed you play as Galen Marek, aka Starkiller, the secret apprentice of Darth Vader looking to eliminate the last remaining Jedi. When this game was demoed at E3, people were salivating. Amazing graphics. A fucking STAR WARS plot line that involved using The Force! Oh man, this one had nerdgasm written all over it. This game was going to be absolutely awesome… Yeah? It sucks

I like hockey games. I have to, I’m Canadian—deport me. NHL 2K9 is also the most fun I have had playing a hockey game since NHL ‘93 for the Sega Genesis, which was immortalized by that bloated jerk Vince Vaughn in Swingers.

It has all the extras that people slurp the iPhone for, like YouTube and music, yeah, but get this: it actually makes calls, and you can truly hear the other person. The touchscreen isn’t nearly as responsive, and it has a clunky Windows-based operating system right now.

The high-end camera market is finally chilling out after being way overpriced for the last few years. The options between a point-and-shoot and a bank-breaking DSLR were limited. Well, the 12.3 megapixel Nikon D90 is the perfect midrange camera. It snaps 4.5 frames a second (I don’t know what you’ll do with that .5 frame) and you can swap out the lenses to get all the zoom your hot neighbor can handle. But that’s pretty standard SLR stuff, so what sets this camera apart?
