Nixon and longtime retail partner, BEAMS, have teamed up to create two limited edition colorways of The Wire headphone. Available in either a blue/orange or orange/blue color combination, The Nixon x BEAMS Wire launched this month and will be on-sale at all BEAMS locations and all Japanese Apple Retail Stores. The Wire, an in-ear headphone, is known for its minimalist design point of view and ergonomic fit while still packing an audio punch!
The Nixon x BEAMS Wire will retail for 7,875¥ (approximately 87 USD) and will come in limited edition packaging with a custom carrying case.

BEAMS is a Japanese-based creative, originator of styles that also serves as a retailer. BEAMS prides itself in being a creative retailer and seeks to discover the new needs of the changing times, to make these widely known and to formulate a culture that bears the BEAMS signature.

About this time last year, Nixon added a line of headphones to the accessories they currently offer (branching out from the watches they are renown for). Previous models included the leather Master Blaster, The Nomadic, and the in-ear headphone known as the Wire. The newest addition to the Nixon headphone family is The Trooper (pictured above). It is a collapsable headphone that features a custom, on ear, full size volume knob and comes with a custom molded carrying case. The headphones are available in black, white, blue, magenta, and gray and retail for $50.

They are available for purchase at the Nixon website.
