Well, this pretty much sums it up in a nutshell, or in this instance, a seemingly menacing wedding cake. Their new ad for the Chevy Spark from McCann Erickson Worldwide, directed by “Lemon” (coulda gone with a better name bud, especially if you’re gonna direct car commercials that are just that) is a blatant rip off of last years Lakai Fully Flared intro. If you’re gonna bite Ty and Spike, at least have it make some sense. How the hell does driving through and obliterating your own wedding cake set you sailing on your way to a better life. And, most importantly, what in God’s name does such action have to do with a crappy car.
