Nike just released this Dunk High Premium, which is one of the freshest Dunks that I have seen all year. Utilizing the original colorway from the Air Max 95, this Dunk is taken to the next level with a black patent leather toebox, a nice use of suede and premium leather, as well as some dope laces! There is just the right amount of neon green to accent the shoe without it looking to flashy or over the top.

This shoe was actually made for ladies, but the guys at Tradition were smart enough to size them up for men as well.

Only a few Nike SB accounts are getting these joints… Hit Hot Rod up if you can’t get ‘em at your dealer. Tell ‘em Vapors sent ya. And thanks to Woody at snkrfrkr for the second shoe pics.

On another note, I know very few SB fans actually skate, but I’m compelled to try to get you to watch good skating regardless. This is a short from a trip to Austin and not only features a Matt Beach appearance (where’s he been hiding?!) but also Chet’s crooked arm. The spots look pretty fun, but I have a hard time imagining the skater I know from Austin, Ted Barrow, skating some of these spots. No offense, Sled.

$2.5 MILLION NIKE SHOE COLLECTION FOR SALE

That’s right, $2.5 million is the “Buy It Now” price on eBay for this collection of 250 pairs of kicks.

It says that 95% goes to charity or the Red Cross or some nonsense, so myfadz.com is only taking home, let’s see, 5% of 2.5 mil… That’s only $125,000 the seller will make on this sale. How damn charitable.

That’s means you’d pay $10,000 per pair, and the seller would average a take of $500 per pair. That don’t make no sense at all–those shoes aren’t even worth $500 per pair on average, let alone $10K. myfadz.com probably needs the $125K to pay off that loft the photos were taken in. How damn charitable.

A QUASI-INTERESTING NIKE SB

Kind of interesting because it is clearly “inspired by” (sounds more polite, right?) a classic Airwalk colorway. I could just ask my roommate who has a complete collection of original Airwalks from the 720s on down, which he bought hoping Airwalk will make a comeback a la Vans. (Or he may be trying to work a collab with them, I don’t know.) Regardless, this shoe rings some nostalgic bells. I think it’s a nice, friendly nod from Nike to Airwalk, one of the OG skate shoe brands. Here’s hoping Airwalk nods back.

I only put this up ’cause I felt weird not having posted a shoe for a day. Don’t want this to turn into a culture blog or anything less consumerist. (I have a great idea for a font for sarcasm, really need to introduce the idea to Google. Sarcasm is hard to get across in print. Or online.)
