The t-shirt itself features a picture of a falcon wearing a Wish t-shirt, an Akomplice hat, and a pair of Jordan sneakers. DeCoud is an avid streetwear fan and has been spotted camping out in front of Wish for special releases, and Akomplice is one of his favorite brands. Decoud was shown wearing Akomplice in the In The Streets feature on Atlanta CSS. Akomplice, Matt Alonzo, and Young De (Demrick) together have created the 3-Collab Hat. This is music, fashion, and film fusing together. Young De recorded that track “Blaze of Glory”, Skee TV’s Matt Alonzo filmed the official video, and Akomplice created the 3-Collab fitted hat. Tradition is hosting the official release party on July 8th at their Westlake location. This party will showcase the videos of Matt Alonzo ( Game, E-40, Cypress Hill, Xzibit, and more) and also feature an appearance from Young De.

A special collaborative product-pack created by Akomplice and Conveyor @ Fred Segal which promotes the use of cool roofs will be released exclusively at this event, and the event will also serve as the opening party for Akomplice’s in-store exhibition that will be on display in Conveyor Fred Segal for the entire month of June. The instalation creatively demonstrates why and how “The Paint Project” works.

Together Akomplice and Conveyor @ Fred Segal have created a product that promotes a “green” building strategy. This product and the corresponding exhibition provide background educational information on the science behind cool-roofs while promoting cool-roof initiatives on individual and legislative levels. Images of the tee and the science behind how it works after the jump.

These roofs & Roadways help reduce the temperature of urban centers by reflecting a significant portion of incoming solar radiation back into space. This cooling effect has an enormous positive effect on urban air quality, while also significantly lowering air conditioning demands, thus saving consumers thousands of dollars in utility bills.

Akomplice Clothing is also working with the City of Los Angeles to find a suitable demonstration site for the implementation of a cool-colored roof, using materials supplied by EnviroSafe Paints (America’s premium no-VOC paint) and Miracle Cover (America’s Finest Liquid Sealant).As part of the six continent tour, Akomplice Clothing and Conveyor Fred Segal’s next stop will be Asia in December 2010, where they have partnered with retailer Lafayette in Tokyo, Japan to release The Paint Project – complete with a new t-shirt design.

Next Wednesday, Feb 24th the homeys over at Tradition are presenting the official listening party for Planet Asia & Gold Chain Military‘s brand new album, Chain Of Command. The listening party is from 7 to 9 and will feature gift bags and giveaways from Akomplice, Bloodbath, and Pros & Cons. The after party is presented by Freedom of Beats, and will feature guest DJ’s Battle Cat and Crazy Toones. It’s all going down at Seven Bar Lounge, 555 W. 7th St, Los Angeles, Ca 90014.

The term “Survival of the Fittest” dates back to Charles Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection, and in today’s tough economic climate, who can deny that survival is the name of the game? Akomplice has teamed up with Leaders 1354 to save the day by producing a stunning “Survival of the Fittest Pack” which includes an Akomplice x Leaders Swiss Army knife, an Akomplice x Leaders T-shirt, a certificate of authenticity and a lemon (That’s right, because when life chucks a lemon at you, say “fuck it” and make some juice.)

Tradition once again teamed up with Akomplice for a limited tee release. The “H20V” tee is an update to Akomplice’s extremely popular “Lean” tee. Rank Jay-Z among his peers by representing which medal he would win in the “Rap Olympics”… Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Personally, I would rock the silver because I have to give Biggie the gold.

This tee releases tomorrow, only at Tradition.
