Kevin Bourgeois’ art was born in Central Florida, on skate ramps made out of discarded wood in abandoned warehouses, in graffiti painted on the walls as he crunched in the broken glass in blown-out Half-Cabs with a can of paint. The hard edges of those earlier days in the graffiti, skate, and music scene are today borne out in his intensely realistic graphite renderings.
