I haven’t been a big fan of any of the hybrid shoes Jordan Brand (or Nike for that matter) has been releasing over the past year or so. Most of them look like a cheap Canal Street version of the original, made for people who don’t want to shell out cash for the real deal or people who can’t tell the difference. Anyway, it’s left a sour taste in my mouth, and I’ve strayed away from most of the Hybrids or even the rereleases of the retros.

Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan Q4 on January 10, 2008. The Q4 resembles the classic Air Jordan IV combined with a sleeker silhouette of an Air Max 90.  I’d have to see this in person to really pass judgement, but so far I like what I see.
