I’m way out of the loop on this one… I know my boy Bernardo wrote a piece I published in Vapors about Johnny Cupcakes, but I have no idea why Cupcakes has such a loyal following. Peep that queu, people are lined up all the way around the block like it’s Kobe Bryant personally handing out Back to the Future Hyperdunks at UNDFTD! Seriously, that’s about the same crowd level. (And check out the dude in the Adam Bomb lid and Cupcakes shirt. How much tough/cute can you pack into one kit? Nice shot, B.)
The signage and store design are indeed dope, and that is not a cheap retail space, either. Way to go, Johnny.
