You may or may not know British artist Damien Hirst, but you no doubt would recognize the human skull covered in diamonds that he sold for $100 million bucks, or maybe the menacing tiger shark in the glass case, embalmed in formadehyde (which has the great title “The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living” and was recently touched-up after rotting a bit).

Well, Damien’s probably in the top two richest living artists, and he’s about to get richer still. Sotheby’s announced an auction of new Hirsts that is expected to gross between $130-180 million over two days in September.

Pieces include the following cased in preservative: a golden calf (subtle), a unicorn (oh, wowie) and another tiger shark (so original). While the work was pretty cool the first time, this is getting a bit trite. If you really want a tiger shark preserved in a glass case, save yourself $20 mil and just go poaching in the Bahamas or Hawaii.

I should’ve been a better con artist. Although the unicorn’s hair does look cool floating in preservative.
