For those that are familiar with the Freshjive brand, the new Spring 2010 line may come as a bit of a surprise. In place of their self-proclaimed “controversial T-shirt designs” and familiar logo, they have gone for a more poolside Miami look across the board filled with colorful oxford shirts, loud madras plaid items including a jacket (pictured above) and shorts, seersucker shorts in lighter colors, and more. They are going through what they have deemed an identity “mutation” that will complete itself in the next few collections or so. I am curious and looking forward to seeing where they head with this and if their current streetwear fanbase is willing to come along for the ride. Either way, it should make for some good-looking threads.
