Universal/Motown Music has assembled a collection of Michael Jackson remixes that they have appropriately titled “Michael Jackson: The Remix Suite”. This five part series that they began digitally releasing every two weeks back in August features a wide array of diverse heavy-hitters, from hip-hop stalwarts The Neptunes and No ID to electronic hall of famers such as Paul Oakenfold and Dimitri From Paris.
The fourth installment, due out today, will contain remixes provided by Kenny Hayes, Mark Hoppus (of Blink 182), renown Japanese DJ/producer Muro, DJ Cassidy, and Wayne Wilkins. DJ Cassidy takes on a classic Jackson song, “The Love You Save”, and creates a breezy, catchy pop remix that takes the opportunity to really put Jackson’s vocals front and center, which I think most fans can appreciate.
For more information on the remix suite, you can check out the website here or DJ Cassidy’s blog.
