Palladium’s most current ad campaign is a story driven, modern day treasure hunt. Photographed by Peter Sutherland www.petersutherland.net, the project also features a collection of short documentaries directed and produced by Vice Media. This collaborative effort takes you on three separate journeys to hidden, uncharted territories; all in which require wearing boots; PALLADIUM BOOTS.

The first destination is Centralia, Pennsylvania. Better known as “The Burning City”, Centralia is a desolate coal mining town where a fire still burns after forty seven years. The tour guide for this particular location is Daniel Jackson, a founding member of design collective, Surface To Air. In addition, he also serves as creative director for BBlessing, a New York based fashion and art boutique. Jackson narrates as he introduces you to a creepy, ghost of a town that happens to be ON FIRE.
The second installment involves Brooklyn based designer, Shawn Joswick (of Raised By Robots fame), who takes you on a tour of New York City’s underbelly. Seeking out the ruins of abandoned buildings, Joswick discovers the “artifacts” and remains of the former millenium.
Lastly, Sutherland and his crew head to Washington State, where an underground missile silo anticipates some unexpected company. With details on this vignette to be determined, one can assume it will be quite peculiar. This particular silo has been home to the first ever, full scale computer hacker conference in the U.S.
