On the 14t and 15t of May Nike celebrated  the 20 year anniversary of the Bo Knows campaign and trainer, Nike invited some media folks down to the UCI Irvine campus for a two day event to have a look see test out the new Trainer 1. Since this was Nike, you know everything was top notch from the white leather couches to the lunch. We also got to meet Amare Stoudemire (Phoenix Suns), Brandon Roy (Portland Trailblazers) , Adrian Peterson (Minnesota Vikings), Troy Polamalu (Pittsburgh Steelers) and 2008 Gold medalist, Bryan Clay. Day one included presentations from Nike designers who have worked on the Trainer 1 and the process designing a shoe around the athlete’s desires. Day two we got up early in the morning and broke out the shoes and hit the field for an hour long training session. Kinda sore but it was fun. We also got a look see at some upcoming and special releases but we weren’t allowed to photograph any of that stuff. Sorry.
