By Sean Mortimer, Foreword by Tony Hawk
Stalefish isn’t the best title, but the premise for the book is definitely great: it contains pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about skating, past and present, straight from the lips of legends like Stacy Peralta, Mullen, Hawk, Vallely, Jamie Thomas, and Haslam. Basically, it’s a big book of interviews about skating. (And if you’re looking at Vapors, you see I’d rather get the words from the person than the writer’s take on it. Especially with Mortimer, who can get as emotional and sentimental as Joel Patterson.
