2K is claiming that NBA 2K9 will deliver a shockingly a more realistic and feature-rich basketball experience than has ever been available in a video game—from gameplay and graphics to presentation and online features. Probably the most anticipated new online feature is Living Rosters, which will constantly update player ratings, and also add new moves to a player’s repertoire to reflect the real action in the NBA. When Lebron unveils a new, never-before-seen dunk in December, animators at 2K will add the animation online so you can download and use that new move to shame your opponents.
