If you’re old enough for vivid memories of the mid-’80s rap movement, then this guy’s name will, at the very least, ring a bell. The reason being, he was a crucial block in the foundation of West Coast hip-hop, though perhaps overlooked in this modern era. Arabian Prince was pivotal in the electro-rap sound (you know it to hear it), and eventually became associated with Dr. Dre and the whole N.W.A gangsta rap revolution.
