Because I make music that tackles the issues your Mom and Pop refused to talk about — Like why it’s ridiculous to put all your faith and hope for a better life in the “promises” of one man! Change happens from the bottom up, not the other way around. Let’s get free, people!

Right now I’m working on…

Back in the Philippines… Clothing optional.

My most prized possessions are…
My Los Padrinos Juvenile Detention Center copy of The Autobiography of Malcolm X and my integrity.

But I’d give it all away for…
A conversation with Malcolm X and a cage match with George Bush… Junior or Senior.

The first thing I do in the morning is…
Kiss my Son and his Mom (or vice-versa). But, if I’m on the road, I make sure I haven’t kicked off my blanket in my sleep, and if I have, make sure my “thang-thang” ain’t sticking out of the hole of my boxers, and if it has, make sure DJ Phatrick ain’t take no pictures of me to post on the net.

The last thing I do at night is…
Kiss my Son and his Mom (or vice-versa). But, if I’m on the road, I make sure to call home and tell my family I miss them.

My momma always said…
She felt sorry for me, because I “haven’t accepted Jesus as my lord and savior,” and I always put the need for social change before church! But, sorry Momma, you raised me this way – Love you!

I love it when people…
Mobilize and work to move information to the masses!

I hate it when people…
Don’t ask questions. Go dumb, don’t be it! Oh, and I hate when people don’t take their shoes off in my house… I’m from the Philippines, homie – don’t trek that outside dirt up on my Son’s playground!

If you ever see me walking down the street…
Understand that me staring at you is just my way of making sure you’re a stand-up person and not a pig. Just look me in the eye and say, “What’s up…” Then let’s talk about how we can make our situation as a community better.

My most notable run-in with the law…
How many pages I got? Uuumm, armed robbery 1995. Enough said.

If I had to say sorry it would be because…
I wasn’t thinking.

I get real aggro when…
I think about how much money is being spent to fuel America’s hostile occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, and the fact that only a few of my folks know about the imperialistic push of America into the Southern (Muslim) Philippines and I get real pissy when I find tomatoes in my burger!

The last time I swore I’d never drink was after a night of…

Future projects and plans…
An album with Do D.A.T (Cadillac Rebellion) and an album with Sabzi of Blue Scholars (Cloudy Sunny Weather LP). I will continue to do the work that will create an impact in the direction of true social change. Also, I’ll continue to push the latest album, “…exact change…” with the greatest live show on the lowest budget imaginable – coming soon to a city near you!

The billions of people that live in poverty around the world – the hungry, the sick and the abandoned. I’m working on gathering those who will work to make the basic needs of the people accessible! All power to the people! Philippines stand up!
