Derek over at Sneaker Politics sent these to me. Pretty funny, except I’ve been hit by two cars in the last three weeks on my bike. (Keep an eye out for me and LBC Rob Gonzalez’ “Tour de Long Beach” article next issue.) The car always wins in car vs bike confrontations, but when you pop someone’s helmet off with the impact while driving on the wrong side of the road, you’ve probably killed them and you’re probably looking down the barrel of a minimum of 15 years.

On another note, I’m getting sick of seeing all the articles from the Sneaker Issue displacing my mundane rants about trivial shit. You’re trampling my ego! Seriously, slow down on the posts, Vapors Staff, whoever you are! I’m the only person on staff, so who’s posting all of these stories? Is there another staff member in a computer lab in India that I don’t know about?
We here of the Vapors Staff find it difficult to stay motivated during these troubled economic times.
We remain supportive of Mr. PJ, and though he refuses to acknowledge our existence, will continue in our relentless effort to make the Vapors site the best it can be.
We also find the jab to us in this “motivational” post to be a direct criticism of our quality of work. Thus we will double our efforts and continue to post quality content on the site at twice the current pace.
