Definitely the “work” of Clyde Singleton

I’m only doing this interview in an attempt to take you on a date to Roscoe’s. Ride the wave. I love you, okay? So, you can breakdance, right?
Uh, yeah. I’ve been known to have some moves.

Hold on. Weren’t you on “Kids Incorporated” or some shat?
Haha, right…I’m sure you caught that Cisco’s shakedown episode.

How’d you get into shoe design?
My love for shoes is my real inspiration. I’ve always enjoyed art, drawing, and collecting shoes as a youngster. I actually got my first break in high school when I got spotted drawing in my complex. My neighbor, who was the art director for a well-known surf brand, said, “Wanna make some cash? Let’s put these skills to use.” And off I went drawin’ and creating graphics for major action sports companies. I kept doing everything I could to become better designer and a student of this art. My hard work and determination paid off when I set my eye on shoe design. I found my true heart and passion in designing shoes. I look at each shoe as a useful piece of art with endless possibilities.

Okay, but seriously, would you rather pop, lock, or drop it?
You know…drop it like it’s hot!

Remember the time I passed out at your house? If you remember the shoes I was wearing, I’ll give you a stack, right.
Oh, I got this! You were wearing them plaid Doughboys…DVS. Where’s my stack?

So you’re gooder than a lot of people who skate. So, what can’t you do?
Hmm…split an atom.

If your man Paul Sharpe don’t knock me out, can we really go to Roscoe’s?
As long as you’re buying the chicken ‘n’ waffles for Paul and I.

Thank you for your time, Kristiana. Chicken ‘n’ waffles on me when I return to LA.
