I guess this company In The News and Jerry Otero (both of which have nothing to do with Vapors) cut pages out of the magazine, laminate them to wood, then send them out to stores and companies featured in the mag. If you accept the package, then they try to collect money for it. Well, they sent this plaque to Hot Rod, then tried to collect $250 for it. They even had a collection agency call the store. So Cameron from Hot Rod took the plaque out back, stomped the shit out of it and beat it with a brick, then sent Jerry the photo along with a middle finger.

I applaud that kind of action. Even if I did like the Huf cover he destroyed.
