We all know Boston is notorious for faking stuff to draw out hype or excitement or whatever. The bloody sock, now Pierce being carried to the locker room, only emerging later, cutting, jumping and running on that knee? Bullshit. Like the writer said, he was nothing without KG and Ray Allen. Pierce brought the celtics to the playoffs in 2002 and scored 19 of his 28 points in the the fourth quarter bringing them back from a 21 point deficit and also being the biggest comeback in playoff history. Pierce also is considered in the top five in the nba. He got stabbed 11 times in 2000 and came back to play a full season and becoming the second celtic to score over 2,000 points in one season afer larry bird. so to say pierce sucks you would have to say larry bird sucked as well.
