I’m not usually one to advocate buying albums, because about 90% of all albums I’ve ever bought were three or four good songs and eight or more of filler. (I’m lookin’ at you, Huey Lewis.) You’ve got to pick and choose the artists you trust carefully. But I’ve been listening to the new Nas the last two days while I battle traffic. Banger from intro to outro.

I still think the original title was good, though, and Colbert cracked me up last night when he kept referring to it as “reggin.” Nas came off very intelligently, which is unfortunately pretty unusual for a rapper, and damn it if Colbert isn’t forever the sharpest wit in the world. Peep it.
