Nothing serious. But a dirty cop was trying to hit on me one night and asked if I was a Filipina, and I replied, “Shouldn’t you be at a donut shop?”

I was four and my older brother was seven; he burned the top of my right hand with a scorching hot metal fork. I still have the scar…it’s pretty huge.
